Overgrown hedges are one of those things that sneak up on you. What started as a tidy shrub along the foundation slowly turns into a massive, woody tangle that eats up usable yard space and makes everything feel cramped. That's exactly what we were dealing with here.

The before speaks for itself - a large, overgrown hedge crowding the side of the house and taking up a solid chunk of the yard. At that point, trimming it back wasn't really going to cut it. Full removal was the right call, and it's what the customer wanted anyway. They had plans for a garden bed and needed the space.

We got in, cut it down, and pulled everything out - roots and all. You can see the tarp loaded up with debris mid-job. We keep things clean as we work. No leaving a mess behind and calling it done. Once the shrubs were out, the area got cleared and prepped so the customer had a fresh slate to work with.

The finished yard speaks for itself. The garden bed area is open, the lawn has room to breathe, and the whole side of the property feels bigger. Sometimes the best landscape maintenance move you can make is knowing what to take out - not just what to add. Our team handles shrub and hedge removal as part of our landscape maintenance services, and we handle the cleanup so you don't have to.

If you've got overgrown shrubs or hedges that are past their prime, we can help you figure out the best path forward - whether that's removal, cutback, or something else entirely.
