Sometimes a yard just needs a clean reset. Not a full overhaul - just sharp edges, fresh mulch, and plants that look like someone actually cares about them. That's exactly what we came out here to do, and the results speak for themselves.
We re-cut the bed edges throughout the front yard and worked through each planted area - the large island bed in the lawn, the foundation beds along the house, and the curved beds flanking the entry walk. Every line got cut clean against the turf and the concrete. Fresh mulch was laid through all the beds to give everything a finished, uniform look. It's the kind of detail that ties a whole yard together.
The plant selection in these beds already had great bones - a nice mix of ornamental shrubs, evergreen conifers, and colorful perennials. All we had to do was set them off with clean edges and a dark mulch base so they could actually stand out. When the structure is already there, good landscape maintenance is what keeps it looking intentional instead of overgrown and ignored.
We've also got xeriscaping planned for the backyard on this one. That's a smart move for any homeowner who wants lower water use without sacrificing a yard that looks good. We'll share more on that as it comes together.
